Campaign Story

Hello, my name is Paris and I am 29 living in North Carolina. About 2 years ago I went to a doctors about because I was having trouble conceiving and was told that I couldn’t have kids naturally due to having a unicornate uterus and one tube that doesn’t work at all. With that being the first time I had heard that in my life, I was extremely devastated as my only goal is to be a mother. From then I didn’t know what I can do or was able to do so I sulked in that devastation for a few months. Beginning of 2023 I finally decided to get out of my head and start the process. I had surgery to see if my tube had to be removed which thankfully it did not. I was told I can carry my own children and I took that as a blessing and started preparing for that. I started my first IVF round in June of 2023 and as of today I am on my 2nd retrieval and 5th transfer without any luck as of yet. My partner and I still hold on to hope but the cost is getting extremely expensive as we have to travel from NC to NY for our treatments. I currently work 2 jobs and so does my partner and I feel as if the finish line keeps getting farther and farther. We would love the opportunity to be parents as we both love kids but most importantly we would love to keep the hope and faith. We are scared that soon, we wouldn’t have an option to continue due to the financial stress it is taking on us.
